The main spare parts for vertical
cuttings dryer
are as below, most of the maintenance cost is from these
spare parts:

(1)  
Screen
basket, the screen basket and screen frame are separated components and they
are balanced separately. The screen basket scraper is installed to prevent the
discharged fluids from blocked on the screens, sometimes the solids content is
very high, it is not easy to get down from the screens. Based on different
drilling cuttings conditions, the replacement period will be different for the
screens, pls check with GN sales engineer team for the required quantity in one
year.

(2)  
Flites
& Cone Rotor Assembly, the 8 flites are fixed on the rotor assembly, you
need to replace it completely. The flights are used to prevent cuttings
blocking the screens and scraping the mud inside the screens.

(3)  
Bearings
replace time based on actual working time.

(4)  
Bell
jar with scraper, the scrapers are used for solids discharge scraping.

(5)  
Liquid
discharge ring, it is not easy to be damaged normally, 1 set is required as
back up.

Recently we
shipped a complete set of customized mud mixing tank system to South America,
as a small part of a liquid mud plant.

The main configuration of the mud mixing tank system
is as below:

1 4 sets of 40 feet container size mud tanks with
necessary handrails, stairs, walkways, connection pipelines, valves, flexible
connections, flanges, man hole, clean gate, etc. 3 of them are mud mixing
tanks, 1 of them is mud processing tank.

2 Each tank with 2 units of GNJBQ15DD ( double blades)
mud agitators, 2 units of 2 inch mud guns, 1 fluids level meter

3 Each tank with 6×5 with 75HP centrifugal pump as
transfer pump, 75HP shear pump for cutting the mixed chemicals, 60HP mixing
pump working with venture hopper.All of the pumps are designed to multi
functions, for example:

The transfer pump can work as feeding pump of shale
shaker
and OBM processing tank; the mixing tank can work as transfer pump when
stop mixing. The shear pump can work as transfer pump when it is available or
when the transfer pump is under maintenance. The transfer pump can transfer the
clean fluids from the liquid mud plant to mud mixing tank system, also it can
transfer the mixed fluids into mud storage tanks.

4 One of the tank is as oil based mud processing tank,
with the solids control equipments as : 2-panel shale shaker GNZS852-HB, 2
units of high speed decanter centrifuge GNLW363CG, mud agitators, mud guns,
centrifuge feeding pumps.

5 Operation table for each mud mixing tanks, the
chemicals will be put on the operation table by forklift for convenient
operation.

6 Customized painting color, customized mud tank
storage capacity, customized treating capacity

Water based
drilling mud and oil based drilling fluids are applied together for one land
drilling rig because of the various purpose of the drilling. One package of
drilling waste management or drilling cuttings disposal unit which be used for
both water based drilling cuttings and oil based drilling cuttings are very helpful
for the drilling rigs, it can less the cost for the drilling waste management

Last
week we went to the jobsite of a CNPC drilling rig to check the performance of
our drilling waste management system working with water based drilling
cuttings. The discharged mud from the decanter centrifuge is dry enough and
make the clients satisfied with the result. The system is a modular drilling
waste management system
which can be divided into several modulars.

Vertical cuttings dryer system :

Including
GNCD930C-VFD vertical cuttings dryer with telescopic skid and the flushing pump
on the skid, the VFD control panel are installed besides the skid, there are a
dry cuttings collection box on the skid.

(2)   
Cuttings transferring system

Including
screw conveyor to transfer the dry material to the top of the vertical cuttings
dryer and cuttings pump to transfer the wet material with much fluids by the
hose to the cuttings dryer. There are a pressure unit on the skid to provide
positive pressure of the VFD control panels.

(3)   
Fluids storage tank

Including
a Cylindrical type tank with mud agitator on top to collect the clean fluids
from the vertical cuttings dryer and a submersible slurry pump to transfer the
fluids to the high-G dryer.

(4)   
High G dryer system

Including
high-G dryer shaker with a catch tank on the bottom to less the solids content
of the fluids discharged from the cuttings dryer and make the decanter
centrifuge working better.

(5)   
Decanter centrifuge system

Including GNLW363CG-VFD decanter centrifuge on the
high telescopic skid and long solids discharge slot, and the clean fluids will
flow back to the solids control system storage tank for reuse.
