GN Solids Control and Waste Management: Transfer Pumps

GN Solids Control and Waste Management has an excellent selection of high performing, long lasting pumps to get the job done at an affordable price. Our transfer pumps in particular are a line of equipment with a great reputation and we are very proud to manufacture and represent GN Solids in the field. Our GN SB Series Centrifugal Pump is used for transferring drilling mud. It can be used as a feeding pump for the desander, desilter, or used as a mixing pump for Jet Mud Mixer. In addition to these uses, our centrifugal pump can also be used as a trip pump/supercharging pump for the rig mud pump.

All of the GN Centrifugal pumps use tungsten carbide mechanical seals, with a famous brand Bearing. Another big benefit of using GN pumps for your solution, is that almost all of the spare parts are interchangeable with most of the international brand pumps. This results in being able to source parts very easily for replacement. Our open impeller design lowers the axial thrust loads, and makes it easier for installation, repair, and maintenance.

Another type of pump GN specializes in are: Shear Pumps. The main purpose of the GN Shear pump is to reduce the cost of mixing polymers and clays in the process of improving mud properties. The GN Shear pump is available as belt-driven or diesel-driven and includes a hopper, mud gun, and transfer line. A complete system with skid, tanks, and piping are also available. GN Shear pumps are made of high wear resistant cast irons, with a long service life for our customers peace of mind and benefit.

Another popular and effective pump is the GN Screw Pump, or positive displacement pump. The pump is ideal for feeding the decanter centrifuge without shearing or agitating the drilling mud. The main parts are the screw shaft and bushings. The shaft of the pump is made from stainless steel. The stator is made of elastomeric material, so it has particular advantages than other pump to transfer the fluids of high viscosity and hard suspended particles included.
