Start the centrifuge temporarily to check the rotating direction. Change the phase conductors of the motor if the rotating direction is not correct.
1). Start and run centrifuge back motor in short time to observe whether the gearbox rotates in a correct direction, and make sure there is no adnormal condition occured.. Seen from the small end of the bowl, the gearbox shall rotate in counterclockwise.
2). Start and run centrifuge main motor to observe whether it’s pulley rotates in the correct direction, and make sure there is no adnormal condition occured. Seen from the small end of the bowl, the pulley shall rotate in counterclockwise.
3). Start in inching feed pump to observe whether it rotates in a correct direction. Observed from the end of the motor, the pump shaft shall rotate in clockwise.
Notice: ① Cut off the power immediately if the motor does not run after power to avoid it burn down
② When start the centrifuge, check whether the motor work continuously without abnormal noise. If the two motor could not work synchronously, operator should immediately shut
down the centrifuge for trouble shooting and then start the centrifuge again.
③ Motor is not allowed to start over five consecutively times in the cooling condition; When restart the motor after stop, it is not allowed to start over three consecutively times in the hot condition.
Ⅲ. No-load running
Start the centrifuge according to the operating steps, but do not start the feed pump to make it run without load. Check whether there is abnormal noise, vibration or heating. Make sure that the temperature rise of the bearing base is not over 35℃ after 2-hour running. If the condition permitted, measure the bowl speed and vibrating force of the bearing base and make sure that the bowl speed was not less than 97% of the rated figure and vibrating force was not over 7.1mm/s.
Ⅳ. Load running
Turn on centrifugal according to the operation steps, after it reaches the set speed, turn on the feed pump. Check and see if there is any abnormal situations e.g. abnormal vibration, noise, or heating, etc…
Choose the suitable pump feeding capacity according to the mud density & viscosity, and the performance requested to reach. DO NOT increase feed capacity sharply; it may cause block or the centrifuge and hold on the screw propeller badly.tumblr_m7aozdm0sr1qmyjkk

GN solids control Basic requirement of disassembly and assembly.
(1). Disassembly
A. Not allowed to hammer directly onto centrifuge parts, not allowed to separate the connecting surface between parts with tools like screw drivers.
B. Must use the dismounting holes or pulling tools on centrifuge parts when disassembly.
C. Not allowed to heat roller bearing with welding torch.
D. When dismount the parts with dismounting holes on flanges, use forcing screw with level 8.8 or above.
E. Mark the matching parts with compact points before disassembly.
(2). Assembly
A. Assembly work should be done in clean workshop with no metal particles or powers in air.
B. Carefully clean all parts and air flush off all iron scraps and dusts from lubricate holes, blind holes, counter bores.
C. Inspect fitting surface and joint surface of parts, and polish wounds and scratches on the parts with fine oil stones and smooth cut files.

mud cleaning unit

  1. The screw conveyer is overload or out of power.
  2. The screw propeller overload will cause back drive motor current overload, it will cause the the power supplier cut off. Oe if there are other reasons caused cut off of the power suppler, the screw propeller will be blocked. Operater should solve the problem per trouble shooting.
  3. Overload of the bowl
  4. The bowl overload will cause hydraulic coupler fusible plug be melt. The transmission oil inside the hydraucli coupler will flow Main motor will be disconnect with hydylic coulper and the bowl cannot be drived. In this condition, the main power supply will not be cut off automatically. Centrifuge operaters should stop feeding pump firstly, and then stop the power supplier. After that, change fusible plug and transmission oil. After that, open the flush pump to clean out the bowl inside, otherwise, it may cause blocking of the screw propeller.
  5. Attentions for stop-off
  6. Before stop off the centrifgue, be sure to clean the bowl inside thoroughly. Otherwise, when you start the centrifuge next time, the screw propelelr may be held on and could not rotate.
  7. ATTENTION: Most of the common centrifuge broken down is caused by incomplete flushing.
  8. When stop centrifuge in winter, or stop centrifuge for a long time, be sure to open collecting box top cover, remove the drain bolt at centrifuge big end cover, and drain out all water and fluids inside the bowl and hoses, to prevent freezing.
  9. Operator DO NOT allow to leave the site until the centrifuge bowl completely stop rotating.

  12. The VFD control cabinet is separated with centrifuge, and should be mounted nearby the centrifuge and convenient for operation. In order to make it easy for operation and observation, it is better the VFD cabinet located within 5m far away from the centrifuge. Max. the distance should not over 10m. And cover the VFD cabinet with shade to provent rain or sunshine.
